About Last Night…THE MASKED SINGER, WILD CARDS, and THE FLOOR

Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

THE MASKED SINGER: I would have thought that Casey was being fed the correct answer, but based on her reaction when James Van Der Beek was revealed…it seems like she actually really figured it out herself? (Maybe.) But Van Der Beek was shockingly good.

WILD CARDS: Of course Max and Ellis would accidentally, potentially, agree on a date without either of them realizing it.

I thought the show handled the “trapped with a bomb” situation well. It was tense, we got hero moments, we got Max being smart as hell (the fact she pinged that the smart watch meant the person she was dealing with was actually the bomber? Brilliant), we got Ellis really worried about Max, and we got a lot of great Chief Li backstory. It was a really compelling episode.

THE FLOOR: I do not mean to kick someone while they are down, but: How do you have THE TONYS as a category and NOT KNOW ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER?! I just…

(The pasta category made me so hungry.)

But wow for Brian who co-won again, and this time did have to actually play. I’m so curious to see how things go next week now that there are two contestants with a huge chunk of the floor…who gets targeted?
