ELSBETH Adds 9 Returning Guest Stars for Season 2 Finale

It’s an ELSBETH reunion! The critically acclaimed hit series known for its impressive roster of celebrity guest stars today announced that nine guest stars from the past two seasons are confirmed to appear in the season two finale of ELSBETH, airing Thursday, May 8 (special time of 9:00-10:00pm, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+*. When Elsbeth tries to solve a murder, she comes face to face with many familiar suspects.

The ELSBETH season 2 finale is delivering a twist on its format: The CBS series will be bringing back nine former guest actors in the hour.
In the episode, “Ramen Holiday,” CBS teases, “When Elsbeth tries to solve a murder, she comes face to face with many familiar suspects.” (The episode airs Thursday, May 8 at a special 9/8c time.
“We have always tried to make ELSBETH a place for the best actors to come and play,” said showrunner Jonathan Tolins in a statement. “We must be doing something right since so many of our special guest stars managed to clear their schedules and join us again. We couldn’t be more excited for this wild reunion between Elsbeth and some of her favorite suspects.” (Tolins wrote the episode, which will be directed by Lionel Coleman.)

- Stephen Moyer, who appeared in the pilot as theater director Alex Modarian.
- Season 1’s Retta, who played matchmaker Margo Clarke.
- Season 1’s Gina Gershon, who played plastic surgeon Dr. Vanessa Holmes.
- Season 1’s Elizabeth Lail, who played tech CEO Quinn Powell.
- Season 1’s Arian Moayed, who played bar owner Joe Dillon.
- Season 1’s André De Shields, who played fashion designer Matteo Hart.
- Season 2’s Alyssa Milano, who played mafia princess Pupetta Del Ponte
- Mary-Louise Parker who makes her debut in April as “decluttering guru Freya Frostad.”
- Ethan Slater who makes his debut in April as “chatty new hire Officer Reese Chandler.”
The series was also recently renewed for season 3.
