THE ROOKIE: Lisseth Chavez Previews Celina Getting Taken Hostage—While Undercover

On the Tuesday, March 25 episode of THE ROOKIE, Nolan (Nathan Fillion) and Celina (Lisseth Chavez) go undercover on a metro bus.

Initially, the plan in “Speed” is for the duo to do everything in their power to blend in. But things quickly take a drastic turn.

“It’s another high-stake situation,” Chavez previews to Give Me My Remote in the video below. “We’re undercover, and we’re in a metro bus…and then we’re now being [held] hostage, while being undercover…It’s gonna be a fun episode. I’m excited how they’re gonna piece it all together.”

With several of their own in danger—not to mention the havoc a bus full of hostages could cause—the episode is also largely shown through the lens of bodycams and other already-mounted cameras in the bus and other vehicles.

“I think there [were] like 27 cameras rolling at the same time,” Chavez shares. “So it was one of those episodes where there was coverage everywhere. But I’m always curious…how are they going to put this all together, you know? But I’m excited to see it. I’m excited to see how everything got together.”
