CBS Teases Potential THE EQUALIZER Spinoff

CBS has revealed the first official details of THE EQUALIZER spinoff backdoor pilot, which is set to air Sunday, April 20.

In the episode, “Sins of the Father,” Titus Welliver and Juani Feliz will guest star as Elijah and Samantha Reed. (If the spinoff series is picked up, the duo are set to star in the drama.) According to CBS, “McCall is contacted by Samantha Reed, whose father, ex-CIA agent Elijah Reed, is missing. While Samantha joins forces with the Equalizer team to track down the agency legend, she learns more about her family’s past in the Dominican Republic.” The hour is penned by THE EQUALIZER showrunner Joesph C. Wilson and directed by Geoff Shotz.

The Queen Latifah-led THE EQUALIZER is currently in its fifth season. It is one of two shows on CBS whose fate is currently up in the air.
