Couch Madness: The 2025 Winners!

For the past few weeks, Give Me My Remote launched our own kind of bracket, pitting similarly titled episodes against each other in what we dubbed Couch Madness. (Credit for the excellent name goes to fellow reporter Chris Hayner.)

And now, we have our winners! Keep reading for your choices for the best “Bad Blood,” “Head Games,” “No Good Deed,” and “Original Sin.” (You can also check out all the previous brackets here.)

“Bad Blood” (Group 1) winner: LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT (3): “Benson and Stabler look into the death of a gay man at a party. Their investigation leads them to man who has a dysfunctional relationship with his brother.”

“Bad Blood” (Group 2) winner: THE ROOKIE (6): “Officer Nolan, Officer Harper and Detective Lopez are assigned to the kidnapping of the son of a criminal court judge who has a long list of enemies who could possibly be involved.”

“Head Games” winner: SCANDAL (5): “While outgoing President Fitz considers his legacy, the Gladiators question what’s next for OPA, and Jake finally discovers the motivation behind Peus’s and the Mystery Woman’s reign of terror.”

“No Good Deed” (Group 1) winner: THE CLOSER (2): “The shooting of a witness may free a murderer, and as the team investigates the involvement of a Catholic school’s Civics class, a bombshell is dropped in the ‘murder room.’”

“No Good Deed” (Group 2) winner: WHITE COLLAR (2): “Peter’s thrown back into an unsolved larceny case that has Neal worried – because Neal’s the one who committed the crime.”

“Original Sin” winner: LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME (8): “Stabler and Bonner continue to work the serial case, despite pressure to close it. Vargas and Jet make headway in identifying the victims. And Bell starts looking into Stabler’s extended suspension.”
