THE MASKED SINGER Extended Tease: The Lion Performs ‘California Dreamin”

On January 2, Fox debuts its newest reality series, THE MASKED SINGER, and it. is. bonkers.

Every week, disguised celebrities perform for judges (Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, and Robin Thicke) and compete to be the crowned the top singer at the end of the season.

Though the participants are being kept top-secret—the contestants were never unmasked while on set, even if they weren’t on stage and didn’t know who they were competing against—Fox teased that among the group there are “a combined 65 Grammy Award nominations, 16 Emmy Award nominations, four stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and four Super Bowl titles.”

It sounds crazy, but it is ridiculously fun. And in the extended clip below, you can see some of the talent on display, including the incredible Lion, who performs “California Dreamin'” in an episode…
