About Last Night…ARROW, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, MANIFEST, and More

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!
THE VOICE: So, Kennedy is going to win this whole thing, huh? (Outside of that, Team Jennifer was undeniably dominant.)
The show itself was a mess, because trying to jam 24 performances into two hours is bonkers. It’s such a disservice to the contestants, who blend together, and are trying to make an impact as 1/24 singers. And it continues to drive me mad that an even number of contestants from each team makes it to the voting round…the teams are NOT created equal, and it effectively penalizes any coach who has more than one or two strong contestants. It’s especially painful when the coaches are going to have to lose half their teams.
ARROW: The perfect team is one that would that would take a pit-stop for chocolate. But really, who could blame Curtis for being over trying to save the world. He’s lost so much already, and the team is so splintered. However, it was fun seeing him undercover.
I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again: I appreciate that ARROW didn’t half-ass its prison storyline. This has now been a sizable chunk of the season, so at least they’ve stuck it through.
HAPPY TOGETHER: Look, I know it wasn’t the point of the scene, but seeing that retro “No Strings Attached” poster in the college dorm room brought me a lot of joy.
DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: Man, this show makes me happy. I also loved that Mick was able to connect with Charlie; it both makes total sense and is something they both likely need.
MANIFEST: The huge answers all the promos teased were definitely overblown, but I’m glad Michaela got some closure about Evie.
