Think there’s a lot of original programming on Netflix now? Just see what SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE cooked up.
On the Claire Foy-hosted episode of SNL (which aired Saturday, December 1), the variety series debuted a faux ad for the streaming platform that touted both its goals for endless scroll—AKA having so many shows available that by the time you reached the end of the list, more were added at the start—and edgy new shows. (Including SAVED BY THE CROWN, a THE CROWN prequel starring Foy.)
