Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Thursday, January 29, 2009

This is me doing my happy dance because it’s Thursday. Which means tomorrow is Friday and the official kick off to the weekend! I’m going to New Hampshire to see some friends I haven’t seen in a long time. What are you doing this weekend? Anything good?

We’ve got a few new shows tonight, but most of our Thursday night favorites are in rerun mode.

American Idol | 8pm on Fox
The official title of this episode is “Road to Hollywood”.  But aren’t ALL of these auditions ep leading up to that? I love me some IDOL but three nights in a row?  Talk about overkill.  At least most of my shows are repeats tonight, because if not, IDOL would have lost out.

Smallville | 8pm on The CW
“Power”
Clark discovers that Lana is missing; Tess reveals what really happened to Lana when she woke up from her Brainiac-induced coma; Tess is shocked by what she discovers in a secret LuthorCorp facility.

Supernatural | 9pm on The CW
“After School Special”
Dean and Sam go under cover to investigate a series of murders at their old high school, and remember their experiences there as students.

Private Practice | 10pm on ABC
“Second Chances”
Addison’s brother, Archer, moves to Los Angeles to work at Pacific Wellcare; Cooper encourages Violet to discuss her pregnancy with Pete and Sheldon

Burn Notice | 10pm on USA
“Hot Spot”
Michael, Fiona and Sam pose as a gang of ruthless car thieves to stop a thug who is threatening a local high-school football star; Fiona and Michael track down the man responsible for the explosion at Michael’s loft.
