THE SIMPSONS: FXX Sets 30-Hour New Year’s Marathon

FXX is hosting another THE SIMPSONS holiday marathon—and it’s the biggest one of the year.

THE SIMPSONS’ New Year’s marathon will kick off on Monday, December 31 at 6/5c with THE SIMPSONS MOVIE. The network will then run 56 back-to-back episodes, concluding on Wednesday, January 2 at midnight/11c. While that seems like a bonkers number of episodes, consider that isn’t even ten percent of THE SIMPSONS’ total installments (so far).

The network also held a 30-episode marathon (honoring its 30th season) earlier in December. It also ran blocks for Thanksgiving and Halloween.
