Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

THE BIG BANG THEORY: I felt bad for poor Sheldon—throwing up on William Shatner is mortifying. I don’t know if the guys really “deserved” that photo at the end of Penny, Bernadette, and Amy playing D&D with Wil Wheaton’s team, but Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s top half being totally out of frame, made me laugh out loud.

GREY’S ANATOMY: This may be morbid, but I absolutely expected Betty to die, which would then leave Owen/Amelia in a fight for her son with Betty’s parents. Of course, it’s GA, so her seeming okay now could completely be reversed in an episode or two and it could still go horribly wrong.

I loved that Meredith set the record for longest surgery—and also noted she’d want to break it again—on an episode that tied the show with ER as the longest-running medical drama.

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE: T.R.I.P.L.E. D.R.A.G.O.N.! I love it when Holt gets nerdy. (Thank you, Thomas Cruise and the Home Box Office.)

Uh, couldn’t have Terry taken his spare suspenders home? I get why people are into the Marie Kondo-izing everything, but when you’re working a stressful job like the Nine-Niners have, you’d think they would be allowed a few more comforting items.

MOM: I felt really, really bad for Bonnie. I’m glad she got answers about not being able to fully pay attention to things, but it’s still kind of sad she has one more thing to deal with.

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT: Celebrating -50 milestones kind of feels like celebrating a half-birthday, but when you reached 450, it’s worth noting. Olivia supporting Brian was lovely, but I wish she hadn’t been the one to ultimately get him to testify—her point about caring about him and not about the case felt a little hollow in hindsight.
