About Last Night…THE VOICE, SPLITTING UP TOGETHER, and THE ROOKIE

Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: The Bundys could be a real wild card on the series. It’s a shame duos haven’t done better on the show, but a country trio—especially one that’s related—could be really intriguing on the show.

It is crazy that we’re two episodes into the Blinds (and only one week into the season), and the coaches have already used up all the blocks for this round.

SPLITTING UP TOGETHER: I’m still hesitant about how the show has handled Lisa Apple’s pregnancy. (It continues to feel quasi-unnecessary, but I’m glad Lena is handling it so well.) Lena and Martin not telling their kids about their new half-sister? Yeah, that’s going to (rightfully) blow up in their face, sooner rather than later.

THE ROOKIE: Well, Lucy was the only one who handled “plain clothes” day well. Nolan’s mistake with the car at the motel was fine, but him so clearly not realizing that another woman was in distress—which led to her estranged husband kidnapping/torturing herself—was…not good.
