CHICAGO FIRE: POWER’s David Fumero to Guest Star

POWER‘s David Fumero has landed a guest spot on the recently-renewed CHICAGO FIRE, a rep for the show has confirmed.

Fumero will play John Garrett, a “friendly and easygoing firefighter from Detroit,” who spends some time with the team from Firehouse 51. He’ll appear in episode 19, which is set to air in April. (CHICAGO FIRE is currently on a mini-hiatus until March 27.)

In addition to POWER, Fumero is best known for playing Cristian Vega on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. He’s also had recent guest spots on BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (opposite his real-life wife Melissa Fumero) and NCIS: LOS ANGELES.

Fumero broke the news of his casting on Instagram, posting a photo of himself between takes.
