About Last Night…THE SIMPSONS, GAME OF THRONES, BOB’S BURGERS, and More

Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!
THE SIMPSONS: The episodes that shift format are hit/miss with me at this point in the series, but I enjoyed this one. And Marge’s idea of a snappable coaster was pretty smart…I don’t know the show would actually make them now, but 20 years ago, SIMPSONS-branded coasters would be everywhere.
AMERICAN IDOL: On one hand, I’m glad we didn’t have five guys and one girl in the final six. On the other…the judges definitely saved the wrong person.
BOB’S BURGERS: Poor Linda just wanted to be a part of the PTA, and instead got suckered into almost committing fraud. Also, I continuously wish the real world had store names as punny as BOB’S does.
GAME OF THRONES: What a mess. Almost everything female-related felt gross. Sansa crediting her abusers with her strength?! (There is a way to acknowledge trauma and how it shapes a person; that was not it.) Brienne’s virginity being made a joke and then Jaime pursuing her—with more booze—before he inevitably left her? Gendry proposing to Arya? (He would know her better than to do that, especially that way.)
Dany remains awful. She was so desperate to retain her power she was willing to lose literally everyone…and she shouldn’t get to pout because things are going awry now. She was warned the troops were tired and people needed to recover. But, nope, the Stark sisters couldn’t be right, and now Missandei is dead.
FAMILY GUY: Yeah, Meg would become a viral sensation. But oh my God, those shots of her dead feet were so, so, so gross.
