NBC Cancels THE VILLAGE, THE ENEMY WITHIN, and ABBY’S

NBC has canceled freshman dramas THE VILLAGE and THE ENEMY WITHIN, as well as new comedy ABBY’s. The trio were the last remaining in-season scripted shows whose fates were up in the air.

THE VILLAGE followed an interconnected group of people who lived in the same New York City apartment building. THE ENEMY WITHIN was a thriller about a potential traitor to the U.S. government. ABBY’s was an unconventional sitcom about an outdoor bar—that was actually filmed outside.
