SONGLAND Exclusive Clip: Aloe Blacc Tries to Find a Song for FAST & FURIOUS PRESENTS: HOBBS & SHAW

SONGLAND, which allows songwriters to pitch and further develop their song with producers in the hopes of a musical superstar choosing to record it, takes things to the next level on the Tuesday, July 2 episode.

In “Aloe Blacc/Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” the four writers aren’t just vying for Aloe Blacc (“Wake Me Up”) to record their tune—the winning number will also be used in a key moment of the upcoming film FAST & FURIOUS PRESENTS: HOBBS & SHAW.

One of the songwriters is Tvte, whose “Call for a Hero” contains a line that Blacc says is so good, he wanted to throw his hat. (To be fair, it is an incredible lyric.) Check out her initial showcase in the exclusive clip below…
