September 10, 2019 by Marisa Roffman
SONGLAND will return for a second season, NBC announced.
The reality series, which finds songwriters working with mentors to have the chance to have an established artist sing their song, wraps up its first season with a OneRepublic episode.
In the freshman season, six songs reached #1 on an iTunes music chart, and songs have been used in a film and nationwide commercial. Artists that participated in the first season included the Jonas Brothers, John Legend, Aloe Blacc, and Kelsea Ballerini.
The season 1 regular mentors were Ryan Tedder, Ester Dean, and Shane McAnally.
