SUPERNATURAL, A MILLION LITTLE THINGS, MOM

“Wile E. Coyote and a Pretentious Douche” — Christy tries to embrace positivity after having a meltdown. Also, Bonnie gets a glimpse of what Adam was like before his accident, on MOM, Thursday, Nov. 7 (9:01-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Rainn Wilson returns as Bonnie’s therapist, Trevor. Pictured (L-R): Allison Janney as Bonnie, Anna Faris as Christy, William Fichtner as Adam Photo: Robert Voets/CBS ©2019 Warner Brothers, Inc. Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

SUPERSTORE: I get that Sandra is anti-conflict, but my God, I would not have eaten anything Carol made.

Oh, Amy. I’m really sad that she bought into what Maya was selling. Obviously Amy is great at her job and deserves a promotion, if she wants it. But at the same time, coming so close to those union cards being misplaced? Yeah, it’s a ploy.

SUPERNATURAL: Aw, so it was Benny (Ty Olsson) who Jensen Ackles got back for his final directing episode.

Um, I can’t imagine the fun the prop team had with all of the SUPERNATURAL merchandise in Becky’s home. And I know Chuck wrote a dark, tragic end for Sam and Dean, but if it was going to be that bad, I don’t feel like the writers would have telegraphed it that early?

GREY’S ANATOMY: Maggie has been occasionally unbearable, but I felt awful for her. Her biological family wasn’t wrong that she probably shouldn’t have been doing the surgery, but what the heck is the fallout going to be now? Will there be anything? Professionally, she didn’t do anything wrong, but good luck convincing her uncle of that.

THE GOOD PLACE: I’m still very meh on this season, but at least it felt like they’re finally going somewhere.

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS: Well, I cried over Colin a lot. I don’t know if what Maggie did was right—for Colin/Wesley or Gary—but I’m happy that Colin is sticking around.

Delilah and Katherine’s positions about revealing Charlie’s paternity make sense, but I do wish Katherine wasn’t pinning this all on Delilah. Eddie was going to leave Katherine; their marriage fell apart. Eddie lied to her for months…and this wasn’t a one-time mistake. Katherine is acting like the only choice being forced on her is going along with this lie, but, uh, she could very easily leave Eddie.

Is it bad I’m still skeptical that PJ is Jon’s son?

MOM: Bonnie and Adam remain one of my favorite couples on TV. It makes sense seeing him walking would cause Bonnie to spiral—and for Adam to doubt himself. But it’s good they’re now in a place where they can be honest and talk about things—after a little drama—and were able to realize they probably needed to be at this place in their lives to actually succeed as a couple.

WILL & GRACE: Grace…really can’t go down to her lobby to get food? Isn’t that easier than going to the deli?

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT: I love that Carisi is still so much a part of the team, but I wonder if he’ll still be as involved with the squad five, seven episodes from now.

CASTLE ROCK: Episode 5 was my favorite from the first batch Hulu sent out to press. “The Laughing Place” felt similar to “The Queen” in its execution, but oooh, boy, what a can of worms it opened. I figured something was sketchy about the Annie/Joy relationship, but definitely didn’t peg them as half-sisters. And now that Joy has unknowingly opened that door up, things are going to go very bad, very fast. (I assume.)
