Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!
GOLDEN GLOBES: GOLDEN GLOBES are going to GOLDEN GLOBES. It was a mess, but an expected mess. I’m happy FLEABAG won, though, because it was the best of the nominated comedy shows.
THE SIMPSONS: Well, now it makes sense why Al Jean was reluctant to say who Artie was marrying. That absolutely could have been a Treehouse of Horror segment, but also worked as just general Artie weirdness. (Though in another world, the many robot Marges would pair up well with the Homer clones.)
But it’s honestly crazy that the show went 650+ episodes without doing a real episode about the pressures for women to smile.
FAMILY GUY: Look, if all restrictions were off, Lois vs. Connie…? Yeah, Connie wouldn’t stand a chance.
