March 6, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
This April, Apple TV is launching HOME BEFORE DARK, a fantastic new series inspired by the real reporting of young journalist Hilde Lysiak. (The series has already been renewed for a second season.)
The show, Apple TV teases, “follows a young girl (Brooklynn Prince) who moves from Brooklyn to the small lakeside town her father (Jim Sturgess) left behind. While there, her dogged pursuit of the truth leads her to unearth a cold case that everyone in town, including her own father, tried hard to bury.” The drama also stars Abby Miller, Kylie Rogers, Joelle Carter, Jibrail Nantambu, Deric McCabe, Michael Weston, Aziza Scott, and Louis Herthum. HOME BEFORE DARK was created by Dana Fox and Dara Resnik, with Jon M. Chu, Russel Friend & Garrett Lerner, Joy Gorman Wettels, Rosemary Rodriguez, and Sharlene Martin executive producing.
