THE VOICE: James Taylor Joins Season 18 as a Mega Mentor
April 6, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
James Taylor has joined THE VOICE as the show’s newest Mega Mentor, NBC announced. He’ll join the coaches to mentor the remaining artists through the Knockout Round, starting on Monday, April 13.
The Knockout Round finds the artists competing one-on-one against a teammate, but they’ll get to choose their own song—and watch their competitor sing for their show life.
However, this season also brought a new twist: the saved artists from the Battle Rounds will compete in a four-way Knockout to stay on the show.
