NBC Orders DEBRIS to Series
June 29, 2020 by Marisa Roffman
NBC has ordered sci-fi drama DEBRIS to series.
The show, from former FRINGE boss J.H. Wyman, follows “two agents from two different continents, and two different mindsets, must work together to investigate when wreckage from a destroyed alien spacecraft has mysterious effects on humankind.”
The series—which stars Jonathan Tucker and Riann Steele—had started production before COVID-19 shut down the industry in March of 2020.
DEBRIS is the latest show to join NBC’s planned 2020-2021 lineup, with new additions also including LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME, CONNECTING, MR. MAYOR, KENAN, YOUNG ROCK, THAT’S MY JAM, TRUE STORY, and SMALL FORTUNE. As of now, the network is sticking with its optimistic fall schedule, which would include L&O:OC as the sole new series to debut this year.
