ONE OF US IS LYING: Peacock Orders YA Mystery Drama to Series

Peacock has ordered its adaptation of young adult mystery drama ONE OF US IS LYING to series.
Based on the novel of the same name by Karen M. McManus, ONE OF US IS LYING is “what happens when five high schoolers walk into detention and only four make it out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide.” The eight-episode first season stars Marianly Tejada, Cooper van Grootel, Annalisa Cochrane, Chibuikem Uche, Barrett Carnahan, Jessica McLeod, and Melissa Collazo.
Darío Madrona (who co-created ELITE) will showrun the series. The pilot was written by Erica Saleh and directed by Jennifer Morrison.
The book, which is has been on the bestseller list for more than two years, has been translated into over 40 languages.
