Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

LOVE ISLAND: Oh, Mackenzie, Connor…really did not seem like he was enjoying the other kisses he had to do. Hopefully they don’t go the way of James and Moira, who imploded SO FAST. If you had asked me a few days ago which couple would have made it to the very end of the show, James/Moira would have likely been my pick. But they flamed out super fast and now she’s with Calvin, who she is happy with, but feels super off to me. (I get they barely know each other, but I like how you look without makeup doesn’t feel like it should be what you start off with? Yes, it’s absolutely important, but, uh, maybe something about her personality? How she makes you feel? What excites you about getting to know her? Sigh.)

The guys getting emotional about the exits was really, really sweet. It is such a surreal experience, that it must feel like sleepaway camp on steroids, when you’re around a small group of people pretty non-stop with mostly each other to pass the time. It’s very sweet.
