About Last Night…BIG BROTHER and LOVE ISLAND

Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!BIG BROTHER: So, I know people are mad about David, but, uh, he’s secretly the smartest one around now? The contestants don’t know three contestants are being kicked out, but if the house guests have anything to say about things, whether he took the money or not, he is out this week. And with no real allies in the house, he was never going to win it all, either.

I’m glad Cody isn’t getting to put the people up for the other two spots, at least as of now, because it felt SUPER unfair for one person to have that much power. If the house votes, I assume it’ll be Kevin, David, and maybe Christmas gone? Though I could see Dani being a wild card.

I really wish Kevin had expressed his difficulties in being a biracial man earlier. Obviously no one has to talk about any part of their identity if they don’t feel comfortable with it, but it feels so important to some of the other conversations that have been had, and Kevin did seem open/hurt by some of the past comments, so I wonder if he brought it up to anyone before his talk with David.

LOVE ISLAND: Justine and Caleb winning was the least suspenseful thing of the season at this point, but I was surprised Johnny and Cely were #2. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE, CELY. (Johnny’s “joke” about Caleb keeping the money, uh, didn’t feel entirely like he was kidding.)

I know it’s a reality show, but hopefully this group has a better success rate than last season.
