Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

ZOEY’S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST: Ohhhhhhhhh, I missed this show. I laughed, I got emotional. It felt like the show itself hugged me.

I really appreciated that the show said goodbye to its triangle. As compelling as Max-Zoey-Simon were in season 1, I didn’t really want a repeat of that in season 2. I’m glad we’re going to truly explore what Max and Zoey are like in a relationship and whether they work.

Also, that Mo and Max restaurant sounds PERFECT? I want to go.

And Mitch. What a perfect way to incorporate Mitch. He was such a big part of season 1, so I’m glad we got one little last goodbye to him.

P.S. – I want Zoey’s “superpower” ring!

NURSES: I didn’t love episode 2, but tonight’s episode (3) was great. I felt so bad for Ashley with her losing a patient after she left. And, ugh, I loved Nazneen’s dynamic with her diva patient. Even when the singer was, uh, eccentric, her advocating for what’s best—including being clear the patient had revoked her consent when a doctor wanted to do a biopsy.

And, oh boy, hospital merger. That will not work well for Grace…at all.
