About Last Night…BATWOMAN and CARD SHARKS

Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!

BATWOMAN: I love how Mary and Ryan have gotten as close as possible so fast, while Luke is understandably skeptical and still keeping her at a distance. Their team dynamic is fun, and one of my favorite parts of season 2 so far.

I remain wary of the Kate of it all, though. As an audience, we know Kate isn’t dead, but it certainly doesn’t seem like she’ll be back onscreen any time soon, if at all. With her loved ones getting renewed hope she’s alive, it certainly doesn’t seem like that story will be fading away any time soon, and it’s hard to balance that with trying to let Ryan find her space to grow as the new Batwoman.

(I do love the new suit, though!)

CARD SHARKS: The games were perfectly okay? It felt quasi-underwhelming. Sami’s final round wasn’t particularly great, but at least both winning contestants went home with some money.
