ZIWE: Showtime Sets May Debut for New Variety Series

ZIWE, a new variety series starring Ziwe, will debut on Sunday, May 9 at 11/10c, Showtime announced.

The six-episode first season will be a hybrid series consisting of interviews, musical numbers, sketches, and more.

According to Showtime, “writer, comedian and performer Ziwe, who also serves as showrunner on the series, brings her singular, riotously funny, no-holds-barred brand to SHOWTIME with her new eponymous late-night variety show, ZIWE.”

Ziwe’s credits include writing credits on DESUS & MERO, OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT, and DICKINSON. She also voiced now-Vice President Kamala Harris on OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT.
