About Last Night…THE SIMPSONS, AMERICAN IDOL, FAMILY GUY, and More
March 8, 2021 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!
THE SIMPSONS: Yep, Cletus being ruined by fame absolutely tracks based on his past. (Heck, when his kids got famous, he went wild.)
AMERICAN IDOL: Alyssa. Freaking. Wray. Wow. I can’t remember the last IDOL audition that was that strong. There were a few other good moments in the episode (like Abby LeBaron), but nothing compared to Alyssa. Fingers crossed she goes far.
THE GREAT NORTH: If animated shows have taught us anything, it’s absolutely that curling leads to mayhem.
BOB’S BURGERS: I was a little underwhelmed by the episode, but I feel like it’s one that might actually grow on me? It’s pretty timeless, which will help, at least.
FAMILY GUY: Visually, the episode was great. It was fun seeing the multiple versions of the characters—certainly something the show has done successfully in the past—and Stewie and Brian being so worried about their friendship collapsing was sweet.
