About Last Night…THE VOICE and DEBRIS
March 16, 2021 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!
THE VOICE: Wait, TWO CONTESTANTS did school projects on the coaches? The Blake Shelton one was funny, but I’m so fascinated by the Kelly Clarkson/Elvis one?!
But on a singing note, a lot of good/great singers. Team Legend’s Zania Alaké and Team Kelly’s Anna Grace were my favorites of the night, but there were a lot of people who feel like they could be real contenders.
DEBRIS: Okay, did the square remind anyone else of FRINGE’s amber?
I did love the story itself, though, and I appreciate that I truly don’t know how the hell the debris of the week will be utilized. And so much of the first three episodes has been people dealing with loss; I’m curious how much that will play into the cases later in the season. (Though, arguably, this is the perfect time to explore this particular kind of grieving, even if, in this week’s case, there was a quasi-happy ending.)
And, um, WTF is going on with Finola’s not-quite-dead dad??
