Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

WALKER: Uh, wow, I did not see the twist coming that Micki’s mother was not her biological mother. I’m curious to see how that feeds into her storyline going forward.

Also: Liam and James, you’re in danger.

SUPERSTORE: OH, HELLO, AMY. Jonah was very, very, very chill in the lead-up to her return, as Hannah mentioned her and then Sandra’s cyberstalking, but the final moment reveal was perfect. It absolutely makes sense Cheyenne would reach out to Amy at the news that Cloud 9 might be closing its stores—and this way we got to see her reaction to the company backstabbing them all.

Lowell Anderson was an absolute nightmare—taking the items out of boxes?!—but Dave Foley was so much fun on the show.

Dina + Garrett = yes, please. (Sorry, Brian.)

[For more on the antepenultimate episode, here’s a little tidbit about how America Ferrera’s early return came to be.]

GREY’S ANATOMY: Link’s rant was absolutely perfect. Trying to raise four young kids in the midst of the pandemic while a colleague died and a friend is fighting for their life is a lot.

We know Bailey doesn’t handle losing colleagues well—and how sad she’s gone through this so often—but I’m glad it seems she might be taking some time off. It’s deserved.

I’m torn about Derek’s return. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loved it and seeing him with Meredith again. And all I wanted, conversation-wise, was to see them talking about their kids, especially Ellis, whom he never met. But I wish there wasn’t this artificial barrier keeping them from getting closer. There’s no reason to believe she wouldn’t choose to return to her kids, even if she wasn’t figuratively falling on her face every time she tries to get closer to her dead husband.

Also: very worried about Teddy.

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS: We do not deserve Darcy. I’m glad Gary didn’t go running to her after he realized Maggie didn’t need him, but I really hope he treats her as well as she deserves soon.

And, boy, I’m thrilled Jamie made it to Boston. I figured the pandemic would mean things would fizzle out and that would be the end of that, but him traveling to be there for Maggie post-abortion was lovely.

Eddie—oy. Just oy.
