About Last Night…ONE CHICAGO, THE MASKED SINGER, and THE GOLDBERGS
April 1, 2021 by Marisa Roffman
Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!
CHICAGO MED: Ohhhhhh no, Will and Ethan are about to get really, really, really messy.
I’m still not sure about Crockett and Natalie, but I’m so happy he finally opened up to her. And her case with Charles was so tough. I’m really glad they were able to help the vet.
Definitely worried about Maggie’s search for her daughter. I hope she doesn’t get her heart broken again.
THE GOLDBERGS: I know they can’t be lovey-dovey all the time, but when Murray and Barry show affection for each other, it’s really lovely.
THE MASKED SINGER: Still convinced Piglet is Nick Lachey. I’m indifferent about Logan Paul (sorry), but intrigued to see what Crab has in store.
CHICAGO FIRE: Okay, so…Casey should get checked out instantly, right? (I LOVED Will popped up. I had missed the small crossovers.) But I also deeply appreciated how Casey supported Brett, because his words about her boosting up her partners was so lovely.
I’m really excited to have Violet a part of the team. But, oh boy, Gallo is going to need to behave.
(Mouch channeling his inner Ross made me laugh.)
CHICAGO P.D.: Oh, boy, this episode was rough, emotionally. Of course Disco Bob betrayed his son on every level, but not only did they break in, arguably, an irreparable manner, Burgess and Ruzek also spiraled out of control in the mayhem.
On paper, I understand why she was wary about believing the best in the situation since it looked like Adam shot an unarmed man in the back. But despite Adam’s anger and worry, he’s not that man. It was great there was video proof to back him up, but, my lord, his heartbroken fight with Kim when she came to his apartment to talk things out was rooooough. I don’t blame him at all for feeling betrayed.

Burzek has been through so much already. This unnecessary drama is getting old. I will keep watching because I still want to hold out hope for them. Kim is going to be the one who has to prove herself to him. He loves her so much. I know she feels that way too. Heartbreaking. I feel like I went through a breakup myself and I haven’t cried about a TV couple this much.
