NBC Cancels MANIFEST
June 15, 2021 by Marisa Roffman
MANIFEST won’t return for a fourth season on NBC. Deadline was first to report the news.
The third season just wrapped last week, and the mystery series ended on a cliffhanger. (And with a core character being killed off and another seemingly going through a major change, it seemed like a potential season 4 would undergo a sizable cast shakeup.)
Season 3 of the drama starred Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long, and Holly Taylor.
According to Deadline, Warner Bros. will shop the series.
UPDATE: Creator Jeff Rake acknowledged the show’s cancellation on Twitter, noting he was “hoping to find a new home.”
My dear Manifesters,
I’m devastated by NBC’s decision to cancel us. That we’ve been shut down in the middle is a gut punch to say the least. Hoping to find a new home. You the fans deserve an ending to your story. Thanks for the love shown to me, cast, and crew. #savemanifest
