Report: Megan Boone Exiting THE BLACKLIST

THE BLACKLIST will look very different when it returns for season 9: Megan Boone, who has played Liz Keen since the show’s first episode, is set to exit as a regular in the season 8 finale, Deadline reports. A rep for the show had no comment.

According to Deadline, Boone’s exit was planned even ahead of the show’s early renewal, allowing time for the writers to craft a farewell arc for the character. (Liz was also off-screen for a good portion of this season.) And promos for the next episode do hint that long-awaited answers are coming from Red (James Spader)…
