CHICAGO MED Adds Michael Rady

Michael Rady is joining CHICAGO MED.

The actor—whose TV credits include UNREAL, JANE THE VIRGIN, TIMELESS, EMILY OWENS M.D., and GREEK—will recur on season 7 of the NBC medical drama, a rep for the show confirmed.

CHICAGO MED star Steven Weber first revealed the news on Instagram, posting a photo of himself and Rady with co-star Nick Gehlfuss on the show’s Chicago set.

The casting comes as MED is undergoing a bit of a casting shakeup: Weber—who recurred last year—is now a series regular, joining show newbies Guy Lockard (who plays Dr. Dylan Scott, a former CPD offer who became a doctor) and Kristen Hager (Dr. Stevie Hammer, a new emergency room attending physician). Additionally, original series stars Torrey DeVitto (who played Natalie) and Yaya DaCosta (who played April) exited in the season 6 finale.
