CHICAGO FIRE Boss Derek Haas Teases the Cliffhanger Resolution, ‘Life-Changing’ Episode 200

With CHICAGO FIRE’s Severide (Taylor Kinney), Cruz (Joe Minoso), and Capp (Randy Flagler) in danger in the final moments of the season 9 finale, the season 10 premiere picks up in the immediate aftermath as the firefighters from Firehouse 51 try to find a way to keep their friends alive.
“It’s a horrific call and the impact of the call will go on for several more episodes,” showrunner Derek Haas teased via email. “I’m scared to watch it Wednesday night!”
Looking ahead, the show’s milestone 200th episode is coming this fall….and it’ll be a big hour for the series.
“The 200th episode will have life-changing events that will impact Firehouse 51 forever,” Haas previewed. “Also, a giant fire because you can’t have a 200th episode without a big fire, right?”
