LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT: Aidan Quinn to Guest Star in Episode 500

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT’s Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) is getting a blast from the past in the show’s 500th episode.

Aidan Quinn will guest star on the milestone hour entitled, appropriately enough, “The Five Hundredth Episode,” as Burton Lowe, Give Me My Remote has learned. Though he has history with Olivia, they reunite in the present due to the case the team is working on.

The hour also features the return of former SVU series regular Danny Pino, who played Detective Nick Amaro from 2011-2015.

Quinn, whose past TV credits include ELEMENTARY and PRIME SUSPECT, previously guest starred on SVU (as a different character) in season 9’s “Savant.”

The 500th episode is set to air Thursday, October 21 at 9/8c.
