Loosen Up Your Buttons Babe!
September 6, 2006 by Kath Skerry
Just loosen up a few buttons, sing a little ditty, and shake your booty and you just might have what it takes to be the newest member of The Pussycat Dolls. Robin Antin, the creator of The Pussycat Dolls has teamed up with The CW Network for the new reality series The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll.
Make it past the auditions and you may just find yourself living with other PCD wannabes while your singing skills, dance moves and self-confidence are put to the test. And seriously, if you don’t have self-confidence PLEASE don’t bother showing up at the auditions. Have you seen The Pussycat Dolls??? Wallflowers need not apply.
So do you have what it takes? The producers are looking for diverse young women (age 18 and over) from all walks of life “to showcase female empowerment, self-discovery, personal transfomation and their inner Pussycat Doll” (…and don’t think for a second that I wasn’t prepared to make at least 759 jokes about the description, but hey, I just pass along the info they give me).
So when are the auditions?
If you are in the LA area, you might want to start warming up and stretching now, because auditions are THIS SATURDAY!!

I bet you are oh-so-sad they aren’t coming to Boston, GMMR. You and Ducky both. 😉
When I grow up I want to be a Pussycat Doll. Or a mermaid.
If I had any kind of performing ablitly I would so go and try out.
Don’t they have enough chicks in really bad clothing in that group? Or has one of them had enough of looking silly?
Maybe its for a Spice Girls 2 movie?
Oh, this is just…bad.
I really don’t enjoy them.
Really.
They’re pretty up there on my pet peeves..
Taking Back Sunday, I love. Not them.
