Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

HOLEY MOLEY: The Distractor?! Okay, this is the first time it really, really, really worked. 13 strokes?!?!? TO WIN?? It was absolutely glorious, ridiculous, and total mayhem. (I loved every second.) I also can’t believe it took this long for me to realize the “trick” of The Trap-Tee-Zee—the dummy is bait, and if you grab on it, you’ll fall. You have to really aim for the top so you can get a steady hold.

Yes, I think about this too much, thanks for asking.

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: Okay, ignoring that the moment was slightly manipulated for television—sigh—Maddie was absolutely incredible, and her poise on the big stage was admirable. (Do I get why the producers would manipulate the situation further when she has one of the strongest voices of the season and a tragic backstory? No. Especially because she’s a kid. She very well could have crumbled. But…thankfully it worked out. I’m glad she got that Golden Buzzer.)

Drake Milligan and Jojo and Bri were also great musical acts. It’ll be interesting to see where they go in the next round.

Also, I’m not someone who can really watch dangerous acts—I did not watch a freaking second of Zeno—but Viviana Rossi was unreal. How did her neck not snap near the end?! (THANK GOODNESS she was safe.)
