Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Wednesday, February 3, 2010
February 3, 2010 by Kath Skerry
We’re half way through the week, which means there is no better time than for a few laughs. That’s what my Wednesday night is all about. I’m an ABC girl on hump day. MODERN FAMILY, COUGAR TOWN and yes, even UGLY BETTY. But somewhere in there I’ll have to make some time for IDOL.
Not sure when I’m actually going to get around to watching these shows as tonight we’re recording the latest TV Talk Podcast with GMMR & Ducky. Obviously we’re going to be talking about LOST, but if you have any other suggestions or questions, be sure to leave a comment.
Check out some of the highlights of tonight’s TV schedule below and leave a comment to let me know what YOU are watching. Are you on Twitter? Let me know by messaging me @gmmrtv

Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Joe Jonas, Neil Patrick Harris, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry and Shania Twain.[GMMR: I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this is a compilation show. But who cares, next week is Hollywood Week!]

Wednesdays make me happy. 🙂
I have to agree on Cougar Town – when I first heard the title, I thought I’d hate it. But now I look forward to it – I love the whole cast and it’s hysterical. Except sometimes Cox needs to just say no to the Redbull.
I haven’t seen any promos for MF, so now I’m definitely going to avoid them b/c I want to be surprised by the moon landing – no idea!
For the podcast (yay! I LOVE the podcast!) these are the shows I’d especially love for you guys to cover: Vampire Diaries, Chuck, Supernatural (of course), NBC Thursday, Greek, White Collar and Life Unexpected. I’m DYING to discuss Friday Night Lights but I know it’s off limits until NBC starts airing it in April (I don’t know if you guys are even watching it now), so I’ll have to be patient.
So excited for Psych tonight!
I’ll be watching Modern Family, Cougar Town, Human Target, Mercy, American Idol, and Ugly Betty!
I’d love to hear about Chuck, Modern Family, White Collar, Burn Notice (just kidding Kath! I do watch, though), and I’d love a minute or two of Ducky giving his 2 cents on Biggest Loser. I started watching after he recommended it. Unfortunately, I’ll be skipping the Lost segment. I have only watched season 1 and have consciously avoided anything related to Lost ever since falling behind, so as not to spoil my future self when I someday watch the rest of the series. Right now my favorite channel seems to be USA. The shows I look forward to the most are Chuck, White Collar and (in the summer) In Plain Sight. Also, I’m going through Glee withdrawls and really enjoying Chris Colfer’s Twitter comments to keep me afloat until April. Did you see the one about his funeral? Hilarious.
Well we recorded the latest podcast and I think we’ve got you covered….kind of.
We talked about this week’s CHUCK. We didn’t go into MODERN FAMILY other to say we love it (no new ep to discuss this week). We spent a few minutes talking about WHITE COLLAR in general. Mostly about last week’s ep because neither of us saw this week’s due to LOST. Dan discussed the BIGGEST LOSER/LOST scheduling issue. So that’s a lot of it….right?
