About Last Night…THE VOICE and QUANTUM LEAP

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: With the exception of Team Gwen’s Alyssa Witrado, I feel like, uh, my top choices from the three-way Knockouts this episode didn’t make it through. (Particularly bummed to lose the The Marilynds.) But there were a lot of tough choices. I’m glad we’re done with this.

QUANTUM LEAP: I’m not quite sure how much to trust that end-of-episode reveal that Ben had started this jump process to save Addison. Do I believe he would do this? Absolutely. Am I suspicious there’s more to it? Also yes.

If it is exactly what it seems, when is Addison in danger? And how the heck is Ben going to save her if he can’t control where/when he’s going?

The leap of the week, however, was absolutely heartbreaking. It was fascinating to see Ben that close to failing, and he was absolutely gutted by it. (I’m sure there will be cases where he doesn’t succeed, but a bunch of teens dying didn’t feel like that would be it; he couldn’t have known that, though.)
