NBC Orders THE IRRATIONAL to Series
December 27, 2022 by Marisa Roffman
NBC has ordered THE IRRATIONAL, starring Jesse L. Martin, to series. (The show is inspired by the book “Predictably Irrational” by Dan Ariely, who will serve as a consultant on the drama.)
In the new series, “Alec Baker, a world-renowned professor of behavioral science, lends his expertise to an array of high-stakes cases involving governments, law enforcement and corporations with his unique and unexpected approach to understanding human behavior.” Maahra Hill, Travina Springer, Molly Kunz, and Arash DeMaxi co-star in the show.
THE IRRATIONAL was penned by Arika Lisanne Mittman, with Mark Goffman, Samuel Baum, and director David Frankel serving as executive producers. Martin will also be a producer on the series.
Martin is no stranger to NBC, having previously starred on LAW & ORDER for nine seasons. He also is wrapping up a nine-season run on THE FLASH in 2023.
