I was going to watch Chuck but I am tired of angst and trapezoids. Since this week is a continuation of the rediculous storytelling of the Mask going to have to skip it. Sorry Chuck not this week.
So you’ve seen the episode? Not interested in any other development outside of Chuck and Sarah? Bummed you won’t be watching. I really loved tonight’s episode. Funny stuff. Zachary Levi is fantastic. Your loss.
Wooo! I’m so glad the Olympics are over (although I did get a lot of my Gilmore Girls re-watch accomplished over the last two weeks). I’m so so so excited for Chuck. I was perfectly fine with Chuck vs. The Mask and I’m excited to see how it plays out (especially that cryptic end shot of Shaw, paired with the Ring’s discussion of him). Don’t get me wrong, I had some issues with the episode, but not related to the romance storylines that most people seem to be hung up on.
Angst vacation, you should really try not to let one episode of a show prevent you from enjoying it. These things go in cycles and just because it doesn’t go the way you want one week doesn’t mean it’s not going to turn around the next. I mean, it’s Chuck – there are twists and turns all the time. If you live and die by how one storyline is going, you’ll never be happy. Just go with the flow. Not to mention, if you are a fan of the show you should be watching every week – keeping the show on the air is only a possibility if the fans are watching. Fair-weather fans won’t help, so buck up! 🙂
That said, also excited for LUX, HIMYM (although I’m not a Carrie Underwood fan, but I’ll watch anyway – see how that goes, Angst vacation?), BBT and Greek. Greek killed me last week – Katherine was so great! I love her on the show, and her pairing with Rusty was so unexpected yet played out so well! I have been thinking for a WHILE now that they were setting the stage for a Rusty/Ashley coupling, but maybe I’ve just been reading too much into it. Moving on…
There’s too much to watch – I think I’ll be watching Chuck and LUX tonight and saving the rest for tomorrow. I love having too much to watch instead of not enough.
I enjoyed the olympics but am so glad to have the normal TV schedule back this week. I will be watching or at least recording Big Bang Theory, Chuck, HIMYM, and Life Unexpected. I gave up on 24 this season. What a disappointment.
I understand the story they are telling with Chuck. But I don’t like Shaw and I have read a blog where they say if I am a fan of Sarah and Charah I might want to skip. Well I am, and Shaw is ruining my season and Sarah and Shaw is even worse. So if that is what this week is about then this is definately not for me. I am not a fairweather fan, I have seen every single episode but this whole love trapezoid is turning me off to the whole season. This is the worst arc they have done and I find myself asking the question why am I watching. If that is where this is going I will skip it. Next week sounds like a stellar episode, i will definately be watching that episode. Such promise for agreat season but they destroyed Charah and the show hasn’t been the same.
If someone can tell me that the show will not flaunt Sarah and Shaw and she doesn’t share certain things with him then sure I will watch but if they cannot I see no reason to watch something that will irritate me immensly.
I’m going to miss the Olympics but I’m glad to have real tv back. Chuck, How I Met Your Mother, Make It or Break It, Life Unexpected and Big Bang Theory, here I come!
And Lauren Graham on Craig is a must watch too. So excited for Parenthood tomorrow. It’s been too long since LG has been consistently on my tv.
The Olympics gave me the chance to watch a season worth of Battlestar Galactica, and to start Dexter. So that’s nice.
Excited for Chuck and HIMYM. Will watch 24 as well.
Watching the entire CBS comedy line-up live, and DVR’ing Chuck to watch immediately after. I’m also DVR’ing Jay Leno’s return.
