Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

STARS ON MARS: Well, the Lance conversation was gross and frustrating, and I’m glad multiple people in the habitat called him out on it. (I’m also assuming in their confessionals they called out that he was busted for cheating, so he has no room to speak to what’s fair/even ground in competition.)

Oh, Cora is about to be a favorite in there if she can cook. I’m glad no one was eliminated, but it’ll be interesting to see how the addition of four new people changes things up. One person would have made it so the OG group could have mostly stayed intact. With four? That’s more than half the size of the remaining contestants, so things should really shift.

CRIME SCENE KITCHEN: Oh, the twist of it being a savory bake was interesting. But, wow, it felt like the hardest one yet with the lunch eliminating so many of the possible flavors. I cannot believe Steph and Cherry won the first round again…it’s hard to think anyone else stands a chance right now.

That final cake was so hard, too. How the heck were you supposed to exactly replicate that look, even if you read every single clue correctly?!

CLAIM TO FAME: Oh, people are playing recklessly. I don’t get why Monay would tell Jane just enough, initially, to make her paranoid…also, it’s crazy that “Puppy Love” applied to TWO contestants. (And I’m shocked Jane didn’t figure out who Chris was based on that, though I can see how she read the clues as Elvis-like.)

But, hey, Jane/Jada handled her exit and wrong guess well. The house has been effective at getting their targets out, but we’ll see how long this lasts.

WEAKEST LINK: Oh, I yelled so much at the screen when they did not bank after many correct answers. If I had a dollar for every time I yelled “bank” during the episode, I would have had…well, at least $100. And, wow, some of the contestants played nice/cordial, but Bridget, uh, clearly did not come there to make friends.
