Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

THE MASKED SINGER: Ken was right for the first real week of the season?!? This…cannot bode well for everything else. But, yeah, the right person went home. I still don’t super love this format, but at least it’s just a game for “fun.”

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: Okay, wow, the audience was..feisty. The show was fun, albeit the normal level of bloated for a two-hour results show; at least it felt like they (mostly) used the time well.

But congrats to Adrian Stoica and Hurricane!

CELEBRITY WHEEL OF FORTUNE: Brendan Hunt was SO good. So, so good. Joe Buck and Melissa Villaseñor may not have enjoyed it as much—and, uh, I’m wondering how serious they were about the drinking given how loose they got with some of the rules—but Hunt truly was a great game player.

THE $100,000 PYRAMID: A good premiere! (And, miracle, references that were only months old—entirely expected!!—and not more than a year.
