About Last Night…BIG BROTHER, FOUND, PRESS YOUR LUCK, and More

Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!
BIG BROTHER: My goodness, Jag is dumb and got clocked so fast for being the HoH because of his stupid, chicken initial move. And, yeah, it may all work out in his favor with most of the house now, but if he had actually kept his mouth shut, he could have made a major, major, major move with zero blood on his hands. Now, Cory and America will know he stabbed them in the back. Whoever stays (and I assume it’ll be America, because why would you keep Cory around and risk him winning?) is going to be out for blood. And they may not win it all, but they may stick around long enough to take a fatal shot at Jag, so…
That being said, I’m glad Blue won the second veto because she was an absolute warrior in that initial veto comp. Over two hours?! Considering how many people dropped by, like, minute 15, that’s wild.
Production-wise, I hate that they didn’t show the veto ceremony here. They had 15 extra minutes; let’s explore the fallout next episode rather than have to condense it and the voting in an hour.
NAME THAT TUNE: Oh, these were not good games. Like, there was good gameplay before the final round in both games, but then JoJo and Steve-O fell apart. It was nice Steve-O at least doubled the donation by matching it himself.
THE VOICE: “Cry Me a River” being the first song….oh boy. A good start to the Battles, though, with Reba handling her first time in that round well. And I’m really glad Gwen stole Tanner because that Team Niall Battle was great.
FOUND: A sweet case, but, wow, Kelli Williams’ Margaret was the highlight. It’s really tragic most of her team didn’t even know about her other kids—which also seems like a liability with the case of her missing son?—but also makes the sacrifice she’s making every night trying to find him even more bittersweet. And Williams was fantastic in the episode.
PRESS YOUR LUCK: Another game show where the initial competition was better than the final round, but, wow, over $135k to start was great for Carlo. His gameplay was excellent, and it also meant he could take a big chance in the final round. I’m sad for him that he got a whammy at the very end, but walking away with six figures no matter what is great. I’m happy for him and his family.
