9-1-1: LONE STAR Season 5 Pushed to Fall 2024

Fox has opted to push the upcoming fifth season of 9-1-1: LONE STAR to Fall 2024.

The drama has traditionally kicked off its season in January, but due to the six-month labor dispute (with both WGA and SAG-AFTRA having to go on strike), production hasn’t started on season 5.

9-1-1: LONE STAR is currently the longest-running Fox drama (the mothership, 9-1-1, moved from Fox to ABC earlier this year); the network has been running repeats of the series on Tuesdays nights.

LONE STAR joins new dramas DOC and RESCUE: HI-SURF on Fox’s 2024-25 lineup. (The 9-1-1: LONE STAR order is for 12 episodes.)

But Rob Lowe fans will be able to get their fix of the star while waiting for LONE STAR to return: He’s hosting and executive producing the Fox game show THE FLOOR.
