Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!

AMERICAN IDOL: I get the synergy of it all, but I hope Camila Galavis doesn’t absolutely flail in this show. It really feels like if her father hadn’t been on THE BACHELOR, they may have asked her to come back next year and grow into her talent.

Julia Gagnon was incredible and deserving of the platinum ticket. Wow, what an audition. I assume she’s going to go far in this competition.

Other highlights: Jayna Elise, Jordan Anthony, and Isaiah Case.

THE SIMPSONS: Oh, I love how they used a different animation style for part of this episode. It was a really clever addition to a stories we’ve seen before—Marge struggling with her parenting style versus others/Bart being removed from his friend(s) by outside forces—to make the episode feel really, really fresh.
