CHICAGO FIRE: NBC Teases the 250th Episode, ‘Inside Man’

CHICAGO FIRE is celebrating its 250th episode on Wednesday, May 8 (at 9/8c) with “Inside Man.”

In the hour, according to the official NBC logline, “Severide goes for an unexpected ride on Truck 81. Ritter’s worlds collide when his secret cop boyfriend helps 51 track down Severide and the missing rig.”

Earlier in the season, showrunner Andrea Newman shared they likely wouldn’t be making that big a deal of the milestone. “We have our beloved technical consultant, Steve Chikerotis, who knows—he’s really the heart of the show in so many ways, and was the Deputy Fire Chief in Chicago,” she told Give Me My Remote at the time. “And he knows every episode. Every production, he announces it and everybody parties like it’s the 100th. So that’s probably what will happen, how we’re going to celebrate: Steve Chikerotis telling us it’s 250 and we all cheer.”
