THE HUNTING PARTY: Melissa Roxburgh to Star in New NBC Series
May 9, 2024 by Marisa Roffman
Melissa Roxburgh is returning to NBC: The actress has been cast in the upcoming series THE HUNTING PARTY as Rebecca “Bex” Henderson.
THE HUNTING PARTY, which is expected to join the 2024-25 lineup, is “a high-concept crime procedural about a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist.” JJ Bailey wrote the pilot; he and Jake Coburn co-showrun the series.
Bex is described as “shrewd, steadfast and obsessively curious.” Additionally, “Bex is an ex-FBI agent recruited to an elite government task force due to her reputation as a savvy profiler who’s caught some of the world’s most dangerous serial killers.”
Roxburgh starred on MANIFEST (which began its run on NBC before moving to Netflix), and had recent TV guest spots on TRACKER and QUANTUM LEAP.
